Key Responsibilities:
  • The role involves overseeing Supply Chain and Procurement operations for factory, ensuring a consistent supply for manufacturing activities.
  • The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership and management skills to inspire and lead both direct and cross-functional teams.
  • Establishing a strong relationship with key suppliers and collaborating with supply chain and cross-functional management is essential.
  • Direct the Purchasing team and Buyers to guarantee uninterrupted factory supplies, effective inventory management, cost savings, and supplier quality throughout the product life cycle, from New Product Introduction (NPI) to end-of-life phases.
  • Assess suppliers across various categories to ensure the smooth operation of the supply chain, adhering to the Supplier Onboarding and Approval Process.
  • Oversee and uphold supplier relationships in line with the Supplier Quality Management System.
  • Take responsibility for procurement and inventory management of various product production materials, NPI materials, obsolete parts, non-production materials, and services.
  • Manage purchasing budgets, negotiate with suppliers to ensure adherence to delivery schedules as per the ERP plan, and prepare vital reports and metrics for company executives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Global Supply Chain, Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering, Production, and Logistics, to meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support the implementation of the sourcing strategy to fulfill the company's business growth and sourcing needs.
  • Cultivate and nurture a culture of strong teamwork and leadership within the organization through Continuous Improvement and lean management practices.
  • Address complex issues that require a thorough analysis of relevant factors.
  • Stay up to date with supply chain trends and continuously enhance knowledge.
  • Approach tasks with a "Can Do" attitude and a willingness to tackle new challenges.
Qualifications/ Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • Hold a minimum of 4 years of experience in Supply Chain Management and Purchasing. Demonstrate a solid understanding of Supply Chain Management principles.
  • Exhibit strong written, verbal, and presentation skills in both English and Vietnamese.
  • Proficient in using computer systems, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Preferably, have a background working for a manufacturing company, particularly in the contract manufacturing sector.
  • Maintain composure under pressure and consistently keep accurate records.
  • Showcase effective decision-making and communication skills.
  • Show a genuine interest in assisting and collaborating with customers.
  • Display sound judgment in setting priorities.
  • Prior experience with ERP/MRP systems is advantageous.
  • Possess a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience, leading a procurement team.
  • Demonstrate proven skills in guiding and overseeing the execution of processes, projects, and tactics.
  • Be an effective and cooperative team player capable of adapting to a fast-paced environment.
