Job Summary:
We are a leading company in the plastic manufacturing industry, dedicated to providing innovative and high-quality plastic products. Our operations are focused on meeting customer demands while maintaining the highest standards of efficiency and sustainability. We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Manager to manage and optimize our supply chain operations at our Vietnam factory.

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire supply chain process, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. This role ensures that materials and products are sourced, stored, and delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with quality standards. The Supply Chain Manager will collaborate with various departments, including production, quality control, and sales, to ensure a smooth flow of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
Procurement & Sourcing:
 
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to source raw materials and components for production.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to ensure the best cost, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to delays, quality, or cost.
  • Ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials to avoid production delays.
Inventory Management:
 
  • Oversee the management of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods inventory.
  • Implement inventory control procedures to maintain optimal stock levels, minimizing waste and reducing excess inventory.
  • Coordinate regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Use inventory management software to track stock movements and manage reordering processes.
Logistics & Distribution:
 
  • Coordinate the logistics of transporting raw materials to the factory and finished products to customers or distributors.
  • Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and ensure cost-effective and timely delivery.
  • Optimize transportation routes and reduce lead times.
  • Ensure compliance with shipping and customs regulations for both domestic and international shipments.
Demand Planning & Forecasting:
 
  • Work closely with the sales and production teams to develop accurate demand forecasts.
  • Ensure that production schedules align with material availability and customer demand.
  • Adjust inventory levels and procurement strategies based on forecasted demand fluctuations.
Supply Chain Optimization:
 
  • Implement best practices and lean supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce lead times, and lower costs.
  • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance, using key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
  • Continuously improve the supply chain process, leveraging new technologies and methodologies.
Cost Control & Budget Management:
 
  • Develop and manage supply chain budgets, tracking costs for procurement, logistics, warehousing, and inventory.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement strategies to reduce supply chain expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with cost control policies and cost-effective sourcing.
Collaboration & Communication:
 
  • Work closely with production, quality, and sales teams to ensure that the supply chain meets production and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align supply chain strategies with overall business goals.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve supply chain issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
Risk Management:
 
  • Identify potential risks in the supply chain, including supplier disruptions, inventory shortages, and transportation delays.
  • Develop and implement contingency plans to mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Monitor market conditions and global trends that could impact the supply chain.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years-experienced in Supply Chain related to overall strategies in procurement, inventory management, logistics, and demand planning and 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management
  • Plastic manufacturing industry and/or used to work with Japanese Management will be an advantage
  • Strong understanding of supply chain software and tools (e.g., ERP, SAP, or similar platforms).
  • Experience managing and leading production teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Good command of English in written and spoken
  • Able to start immediately will be a plus
