Key Responsibilities:
Technical Services & Business Development Support:
  • Performing farm audits, animal production performance assessments, management assessments
  • Providing technical recommendations, services, and training based on farm assessments and audits
  • Providing nutritional planning and formulation for prospects and customers, supporting the business development within the scope of feed additives, specialties, premixes, and concentrates
  • Supporting the quality assessment and validation of raw material in farms and feed mills served by our products and/or services
  • Providing training on basic good practices for external customers and prospects
  • Supporting the assessment of business activity performance (effectiveness of marketing actions, profitability, customer satisfaction)
  • Providing technical diagnostics and solutions to Quality Assurance, Technical and Commercial teams to address customers' complaints, supporting business retention
Training & Product Development Support:
  • Supporting Creation, Design & Development, and commercial teams on the implementation of local and regional product field trials
  • Supporting S&T, Creation, Design & Development, and Life cycle Management teams on the design of product development trials
  • Supporting the evaluation of potential areas for product development and identification of market needs, and validating areas for strategic focus
  • Training of internal teams and distributors on product application, nutrition, animal management, animal health, and related topics
Regulatory Affairs & Marketing Support:
  • Providing technical recommendations and indicating incompatibilities for non-conventional ingredients, feed additives, and in-feed antimicrobials, considering their impact on swine and human health
  • Supporting the search and update of official opinions and recommendations for non-conventional ingredients, feed additives, and in-feed antimicrobials in European and American markets, considering their impact on swine and human health
  • Coordinating with the sales and marketing team the follow up on the competitors’ products, compiling the pertinent information to be applied to product design and development
Quality Assurance & Formulation Support:
  • Cooperating with nutritionists and formulators within Creation, Design & Development, and Life cycle Management teams, within the scope of swine nutrition
  • Cooperating with the Quality Assurance teams on the assessment of raw material and ingredient quality, considering their impact on swine and human health
  • Providing technical recommendations for the treatment of non-conformities, including rules for reprocessing, and refusing/return of products, considering their impact on swine and human health
  • Supporting the formulation teams with studies of raw material usage, based on nutritional, technical, and practical restrictions for swine
Authority:
  • Recommending formulas, specification of raw materials, and ingredients to customers
  • Recommending modifications in biosecurity, facilities, and animal management to customers
  • Defining actions, programs, services and tools to be proposed to customers
Accountability:
  • Ensuring proper product positioning and application in the swine segment
  • Ensuring the best solutions in products and/or services to address customers’ needs
  • Ensuring proper follow-up of business development (prospects and customers)
  • Ensuring the efficacy and readiness of management of customers’ complaints and farm problems
  • Ensuring proper delivery and management (time and quality) of technical reports for services and complaint management
  • Ensuring proper technical communication among the whole group of teams focused on product and business development
Key requirements:
  • Fluent communication in English (essential) and other Asian languages (non-essential)
  • Graduation (essential), or post-graduation (non-essential) degrees in Veterinary, Animal Sciences, or Animal Nutrition
  • Knowledge in swine management, nutrition, biosecurity (essential), and health (nonessential)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office software
  • Medium to advanced knowledge of formulation software Allix or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with feed formulation
  • Knowledge of raw material and feed ingredients
  • Personality characteristics: excellent organizational and time-management behavior; strong leadership and pragmatism; analytical and problem-solving mindset; synthesis and communication skills; proactivity and customer-centric thinking
  • Able to frequently travel within the Asia Pacific region, including India and China
