An exciting Business Development Manager job has arisen in a leading technology firm in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam.

About the Business Development Manager Role:

This is a critical role, you will responsible for growing the business of IT solutions and services focusing on banking, financial services & insurance sector (BFSI) for enterprise corporation within APAC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively identify and engage with potential clients, including banking and financial institutions, to comprehensively understand their software service requirements and effectively present our solutions as the ideal fit
  • Cultivate and foster strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers within the target market to generate valuable leads and drive significant sales growth
  • Remain up-to-date with industry trends, monitor competitors' activities, and stay attuned to customer needs, providing invaluable insights to shape our business development strategy
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing and Offering Development team to synchronise strategies and ensure a seamless communication of the company to clients
  • Craft and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations, showcasing the distinctive features and benefits to potential clients
  • Skillfully negotiate and finalise deals and contracts with clients, adhering strictly to the company policies and procedures
  • Monitor and analyse sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Regularly provide comprehensive reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline progress, and achievements to the management team

To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.

Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrated history of at least five years of successful sales experience within the IT software services industry, preferably with a focus on the BFSI sector within APAC
  • Proficient in efficiently managing the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, resulting in a track record of impressive accomplishments
  • Possessing extensive knowledge and a deep understanding of the BFSI market, including a keen awareness of customer challenges, industry trends, and the competitive landscape
  • Boasting a robust network of contacts and established relationships with key decision makers within the BFSI industry. Preference will be given to candidates with connections in Singapore/ Malaysia banks
  • Exhibiting excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to adeptly convey complex concepts and solutions to various stakeholders
  • Displaying a proactive willingness to travel within the region as required, showcasing dedication to engaging effectively with clients and prospects across the market
