- Assisting legal and contract department in matters related to project, prime contract and subcontracts
- Work closely with team members and related departments regarding all activities related to contract life cycle
- Prepare, negotiate and review contracts (including but not limited to construction subcontracts, purchase contracts, partnership agreements, supply and installation contracts etc.) to ensure company interests are protected.
- Assist in resolving contractual problems that will occur during projects.
- Conduct research and draft reports, opinions, correspondence, and other documents.
- Response timely the inquiries from other departments for contract related issues.
- Identify the potential claim issues including but not limited to circumstances that may cause delays and disruptions by coordinating with related departments.
- Follow up to ensure that company timely fulfils its obligations associated with the contracts, including following up time-barring actions and notification requirements,
- Draft official letters towards the counterparties.
- Perform other tasks assigned in the department.
What distinguishes you:
- Graduation from reputable universities engineering or law departments,
- At least 6 years of experience in construction contracts and claims management especially in prime contracts of international construction projects,
- Deep knowledge in FIDIC contracts
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Strong ability to research and follow up, attention to detail, analysis, and reporting skills
- Advanced problem solving skills
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to take initiative
- Flexible and adaptable approach
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally,
- Ability to prioritize projects in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
