About the Role:
  • Our Client, a company providing comprehensive services for the Upstream sector, including offshore support vessels, site survey vessels, and subsea operations, is looking for Contract Specialist working in Vietnam site. 

Job Purpose:
  • Responsible for overseeing the entire contract lifecycle, from review and negotiation to execution and compliance monitoring. This role ensures that all contractual agreements align with company policies, legal requirements, and business objectives. The Contract Specialist will liaise with internal stakeholders, clients, suppliers, and legal experts to manage risk, maximize benefits, and uphold organizational standards.

Job Description:
  • Bid Review:
  • Examine Instructions to Bid (ITB) provided by clients.
  • Assess potential risks in contract terms and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare exceptions with input from relevant functional departments.
  • Contract Negotiation:
  • Negotiate terms with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to maximize company benefits.
  • Engage local or international legal experts as needed to address complex issues.
  • Contract Communication and Support:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries and disputes.
  • Inform internal departments of key contract terms, obligations, and milestones.
  • Provide guidance during contract execution regarding the rights, obligations, and liabilities of all parties involved.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
  • Maintain an organized, secure filing system for contracts and related documents.
  • Prepare contract summaries, reports, and performance evaluations for management.
  • Track key metrics such as contract deadlines, renewal dates, and deliverables.
  • Insurance Coordination:
  • Liaise with insurance providers to procure necessary coverage for company vessels and equipment as required by law and as stipulated in contracts.
  • Collaborate on claim settlements to secure optimal reimbursement for the company.
  • Regularly evaluate insurance policies to ensure coverage adequacy and cost-effectiveness.
    Requirements:
    • Qualification: University degree in Business Administration, Law, Contract Management, or related fields.
    • Professional experience: Minimum 03 years in contract management, legal compliance, or a related role
    • Skillset:
    • Organization understanding, Competitive awareness, Knowledge of industry in general.
