We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Vietnam Office. The successful candidate plays a critical role in establishing and leading the office in Vietnam. Key responsibilities include but not limited to setting up the business entity, recruiting and building a high-performing team, leading and managing talent agenda, and leveraging team’s expertise to drive operational excellence and business growth in Vietnamese market and industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead the establishment of a full-function sourcing office in Vietnam for production, raw material and other sourcing related functions, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • To build, recruit and onboard team for Vietnam office to achieve organizational goals and business growth.
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director, Asia and the sourcing leads in home office to strategically plan, develop and retain high-performing team and talents to drive operational excellence.
  • Manage and execute robust vendor on-boarding to engage Vendors in strategies and overall objectives and educate on policies and procedures.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of the Vietnamese market and industries to identify opportunities, develop market strategies, and drive business development initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years related work experience, proven experience in a senior management role in apparel high fashion buying office with extensive knowledge of the Vietnamese market.
  • Demonstrate expertise in establishing and managing buying offices in Vietnam, including a deep understanding of apparel sourcing, raw materials, product development cycle, supply chain management and providing support to optimize operations.
  • Strong background in developing and maintaining vendor and supplier relationships
  • Forward looking leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Highest level of personal and professional integrity and ethics
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal English.
