Position Overview
The CTO will drive the company’s technology vision and ensure innovation aligns with business goals. This strategic role combines leadership, technical expertise, and taste with innovation. The successful candidate will manage the the Lab’s engineering team, oversee project delivery, and shape the technical competence to solidify the Lab as a leading AI solutions integrator and provider of AI-related services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Leadership
• Define and execute the company’s AI/ML and software development strategy.
• Stay at the forefront of AI advancements, integrate cutting-edge technologies into the company’s solutions, and strongly emphasize NVIDIA technologies and approaches.
• Ensure scalable and maintainable architecture across all projects.
• Guide AI/ML engineers in the research and development of algorithms, models, and systems.
2. Team Development and Management
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of AI/ML engineers and technical staff.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation.
• Identify skills gaps and implement training programs to ensure a high-performing team.
• Collaborate with HR to attract top technical talent.
3. Strategic Planning and Execution
• Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to align technical initiatives with business objectives.
• Develop (or Evaluate) a roadmap for new products, services, and AI solutions.
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, including NVIDIA frameworks, to maintain a competitive edge.
• Establish and monitor technical KPIs to measure success and improvement areas.
4. Client Engagement and Delivery
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of AI solutions for clients.
• Ensure timely and quality delivery of projects, meeting or exceeding client expectations.
• Provide technical expertise in pre-sales engagements and client pitches.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor for clients and partners.
5. Innovation and R&D
• Drive research initiatives to explore new applications of AI and ML.
• Manage intellectual property and ensure effective commercialization of research outputs.
• Develop proof-of-concept projects to showcase the company’s capabilities, leveraging NVIDIA technologies when applicable.
6. Governance and Compliance
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, data protection laws, and ethical AI practices.
• Establish and maintain best practices in software development and deployment.
• Conducted risk assessments for technical projects and ensured mitigation strategies were followed.
7. Competency Management
• Define and develop technical competencies across the AI/ML engineering team to meet current and future business needs.
• Establish frameworks for evaluating and enhancing team skills and capabilities.
• Ensure the team adopts best practices and the latest industry standards.
• Support cross-departmental knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance organizational expertise.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML, data science, or software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in English and Vietnamese.
• Proven track record of delivering AI-driven products or solutions.
• Strong expertise in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), data processing pipelines, and cloud platforms.
• Awareness of NVIDIA technologies and approaches, such as CUDA, TensorRT, or NVIDIA AI Enterprise.
• Experience managing and scaling technical teams.
• Solid understanding of software development best practices and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic thinking skills.
Preferred:
• Experience in a startup or fast-growing environment.
• Familiarity with AI ethics, data privacy regulations, and compliance standards.
• Hands-on expertise in MLOps and CI/CD pipelines for AI.
• Strong network in the AI/ML and technology industry.
• Advanced experience with NVIDIA technologies and frameworks.
