Responsibilities:
Plant O&M Management Applications:
• Lead, Implement and administer for any applications such as PI , CMMS;
• Review CMMS master data together with other OMF team members and KVPS (O&M company) to confirm suitability with the maintenance plan;
• Power Plant, Heat balance, Performance Monitoring application for a coal fired power plant (super critical once through boiler)..
Operations and Maintenance Information System (OMIS) including Performance Monitoring:
• Develop and manage the OMIS down to main equipment;
• Setup plant, equipment performance monitoring system that acquires data from DCS, CMMS other applications and/or manual input;
• Monitor the condition of critical equipment during operation to identify potential issues;
• Analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for operational improvement;
• Build heat rate test calculation sheet;
• Implement plant heat balance, mass balance analyses;
• Condition-base monitoring for equipment;
• Build performance reports, shortfalls, KPI monitoring reports;
• Notify O&M on Early Defect Detection issues.
Documentation and Reporting:
• Support O&M on setting up, automate O&M operating reports;
• Set up servers, databases to host the data;
• Set-up digitalization and centralization of O&M database system;
• Provide internal and external plant operating reports.
Continuous Improvement:
• Coordinate with KVPS and other teams for plant modifications and upgrades, ensure that all modifications comply with regulatory standards and enhance overall plant performance;
• Coordinate with KVPS for technical incident RCA and follow-up actions;
• Involve in any other programs to improve plant performance;
• Identify opportunities for operational efficiency improvements;
• Collaborate with KVPS to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
- Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer: In-depth understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics relevant to power plant processes;
- Performance Monitoring: Experience in performance monitoring of power plant systems, including efficiency calculations and performance analysis;
- Data Analysis: Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques for interpreting and visualizing plant performance data;
- Power Plant Experience: More than 10 years of experience in the power generation industry, preferably with a focus on performance engineering, preferably in a coal-fired plant;
- Energy Analysis: Experience in conducting energy analysis and efficiency assessments of power plant systems;
- Engineering Software: Proficiency in using engineering software for performance modeling and analysis;
- Data Historian: Experience with data historian systems used for collecting, storing, and analyzing operational data;
- Performance Testing: Knowledge of performance testing procedures and validation techniques for power plant equipment and systems;
- Technical Reporting: Ability to prepare technical reports and documentation related to plant performance analysis;
- Professional Certifications: Relevant certifications in performance engineering or related fields may be advantageous;
- Microsoft Office: Competency in using software such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and documentation;
- Adequate knowledge and understanding of the administration system and working procedures government agencies;
