Job Opportunity: Director of Human Resources (Pre-Opening) – Ultra Luxury Hospitality
Are you a seasoned HR professional with a passion for luxury hospitality and the excitement of pre-opening environments?
We invite you to lead the human resources function for our prestigious new property as Director of Human Resources (Pre-Opening).
About the Role
As the Director of Human Resources, you will play a critical role in shaping the culture and success of our luxury hotel & resort from the ground up. You will oversee all aspects of HR, ensuring the recruitment of top talent, fostering an engaging workplace culture, and supporting operational readiness for a seamless opening.
Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Workforce Planning: Develop and execute pre-opening staffing strategies to attract and retain exceptional talent.
  • Talent Acquisition: Drive recruitment campaigns to source, select, and onboard top-tier professionals.
  • Policy Development: Establish HR policies and procedures aligned with luxury hospitality standards.
  • Training & Development: Create and implement comprehensive training programs to prepare the team for operational excellence.
  • Employee Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive culture that embodies luxury hospitality values.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to local labor laws and company standards.
  • Collaboration & Performance Management: Partner with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of HR leadership experience in luxury hotels & resorts, including pre-opening experience in similar environments.
  • Proven expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, and HR strategy development.
  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • A proactive, adaptable, and hands-on approach to problem-solving.
