Key Responsibilities:
Finance Responsibilities (60%)
Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and data entries, including daily booking of transactions, journal entries, and adjustments.
Prepare and process invoices, expense transactions, and financial documents for payment or reimbursement. Monitor and track company expenses.
Perform monthly account analysis, investigate discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
Support monthly closing by gathering financial data and generating reports.
Handle administrative tasks, such as tax return preparation, document filing, and fixed asset maintenance.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and support daily finance team activities.
Support senior accountants with various financial tasks and projects as needed.
Shared Services (30%)
Serve as the main point of contact for various overseas subsidiaries in relation to daily operations within assigned tasks.
Work closely with overseas teams to review AR and AP documents during the preliminary stage.
Automation projects (10%)
Work with IT and overseas teams to ensure the smooth operation of RPA projects within the Finance team.
Coordinate with relevant parties to address issues efficiently and in a timely manner.
Act as the primary contact for tracking service requests with the IT team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Previous internship or work experience in accounting or finance is a plus.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of accounting software systems or ERP systems.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
