Position Overview:


The Group Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with key modern trade (MT) accounts, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals. This role will oversee both MT planning and operations, ensuring optimal execution and performance in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for key modern trade accounts to drive sales growth and market share.
  • Align account strategies with overall business objectives and sales targets.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to inform strategy.

2. Account Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key account stakeholders.
  • Negotiate and secure agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Regularly review account performance and implement corrective actions as needed.

3. Sales Operations:

  • Oversee daily operations within key accounts to ensure efficient execution of sales plans.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, supply chain, finance) to support account needs and resolve issues.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock availability.

4. Performance Analysis & Reporting:

  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and improvement, developing action plans to address gaps.
  • Prepare and present quarterly business reviews to key account stakeholders and senior management.

5. Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead and mentor a team of key account executives, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
  • Set clear objectives and performance expectations, conducting regular appraisals.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in key account management within the consumer electronics or FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record of managing modern trade accounts and delivering sales growth.
