esponsibilities

Customer Strategy & Business Planning

  • Manage full P&L responsibility for assigned customers across categories, including counterpart alignment and budget planning.

  • Establish and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key customers.

  • Develop strategic business plans tailored to each customer, co-creating Joint Business Plans in alignment with global best practices.

  • Collaborate with customers, Trade Marketing, and Business Units to implement the Cell Approach plan.

  • Work with Trade Marketing Managers to gain category insights and partner with Customer Marketing to design and execute customer/channel plans.

  • Plan and oversee in-store communication activities aligned with channel initiatives.

  • Gather and utilize customer-specific insights, especially related to store layout and shopper traffic behavior.

  • Oversee planning and guidance for in-store visibility and display enhancements (execution managed by other teams).

  • Design and lead execution of customer-focused events and activations.

  • Define clear goals and deliverables for the Field Operations Team to ensure executional excellence.

  • Conduct customer audits to ensure consistent performance and operational compliance.

Negotiation

  • Lead negotiations on trade terms, funding, and counterparts in alignment with customer and company strategies.

  • Manage total customer investment levels, ensuring strategic alignment and ROI.

  • Monitor and evaluate customer performance, focusing on sales contribution and market share across key categories.

Customer Advocacy & Collaboration

  • Serve as a strong representative for the company within the customer organization and advocate for the customer internally.

  • Actively contribute in account team discussions, supporting business-wide solutions beyond direct account responsibilities.


Requirements

  • Over 4 years of experience in Sales roles.

  • Proven track record in at least two to three positions across Customer Marketing, Trade Category Management, and Account Management or Field Sales—especially beneficial for those pursuing a Customer Development career path.

  • Strong preference for candidates with both customer-facing and brand-building experience.
