This role will be responsible for legal and contractual matters, ensuring the company's business operations comply with Vietnamese law and relevant regulations, while mitigating legal risks in the energy and oil & gas industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Take responsibility for managing all legal and contractual matters, including contributing to the development of legal strategies and managing the company's daily legal operations.
• Review and interpret legal agreements under Vietnamese and international law (if applicable), providing clear and concise legal advice in written and verbal form to relevant departments.
• Provide legal opinions on contractual matters, and coordinate and guide external counsel as necessary.
• Provide comprehensive legal advice on key business issues and projects, offering recommendations to mitigate legal risks and protect the company's interests.
• Participate in building and overseeing an effective legal function capable of providing expert advice and guidance on contracts and the compliance framework.
• Participate in the preparation, negotiation, and review of legal documents and key commercial contracts.
• Participate in the review, development, and management of updates to the company's legal policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Vietnamese law and specific regulations.
• Stay updated on and interpret current and proposed laws and regulations in Vietnam and internationally (if applicable).
Yêu cầu công việc
• Minimum of 7 years of legal experience in Vietnam, preferably with experience working in law firms or companies specializing in the Energy/Oil & Gas sector.• Experience in providing legal services for projects and operations in the Power/Energy/Oil & Gas sector in Vietnam.
• University degree in Law from Vietnam or abroad, and a valid Vietnamese lawyer practicing certificate.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Flexibility to adapt to business requirements and changes in Vietnamese and international law and regulations (if applicable).
