Preventive Maintenance:
- Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance on electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, and control panels.
- Clean and lubricate electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Identify and address potential issues before they escalate into major problems.
- Repair and Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, including faulty wiring, blown fuses, and tripped circuit breakers.
- Repair or replace damaged electrical components, such as motors, switches, and sensors.
- Utilize electrical testing equipment to accurately identify and resolve issues.
- Install new electrical equipment and systems, such as lighting fixtures, outlets, and control panels.
- Modify existing electrical systems to accommodate changes in facility layout or operations.
- Adhere to all electrical safety regulations and codes.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing tasks.
- Report any safety hazards or concerns to management immediately.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and parts inventory.
- Prepare detailed reports on the status of electrical systems and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an electrical technician.
- Strong understanding of electrical theory and practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
