Report line: Italian General Manager

Outline:
The purpose of the FEED ADDITIVES SALE MANAGER is to maintain and be responsible for growing the company’s presence and our products in the Vietnam market.  Secondarily, to improve the efficiencies and profitability of assigned products or product lines. Under minimal supervision, plan, direct, and/or coordinate programs and initiatives to sustain and grow the distribution of products and services to the customer..
FEED ADDITIVES SALE MANAGER is responsible for defining and driving the strategic roadmap for company’s products across Vietnam for all targeted species in targeted markets. The role will work cross-functionally with internal colleagues and suppliers to identify market opportunities, define value propositions and product specifications, and set and track key performance targets.
Core Job Responsibilities:
  • Plan and conduct sales calls and joint sales calls in collaboration with all company sales channels, including face-to-face meetings with customers and developing a robust pipeline to meet the budget and the trade lane strategy.
  • Develop a roadmap of value propositions for the key establishment of the company’s products to further increase their market penetration across species and geographies to increase revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Support customers’ relationships by providing key knowledge about overall market trends
  • Gather business intelligence from customers, extended sales teams, and other sources to identify opportunities resulting in pipeline development and strategic action plans on identified high-value targets (HVT).
  • Provide leadership and support to the extended sales team to maintain and grow the book of business specific to the trade lane.
  • Participate in the implementation of new customers by coordinating the integration of the overseas team members in the implementation process.
  • Maintain and develop the lane sector focus and conduct the required periodic conference calls with all pertinent stakeholders to support strategies
  • Become a “voice of the customer” through the lifecycle of the products.
  • Add on innovations that keep the established company’s products continuously exciting to our customers.
  • Become an active member of the company’s Product Management team contributing experience in operating in multicultural business environments, and international markets, especially in technical business in the microbial category.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure that changes made to new and existing products stay on track and are communicated internally and externally.
  • Recommend selling support materials for internal and external communication of new and existing products within product lines.
  • Build and maintain a 3–5 year product roadmap.
  • Driving performance: has the responsibility to meet/exceed sales targets for assigned products within the allocated territory through the achievement of related quantitative/ qualitative field force KPIs
Details:
  • Search for potential customers, approach & build relationships with new customers, promote and expand business activities of animal feed additive products
  • Actively plan to visit and approach customers regularly, update market situation, prices, market trends, change of competitors, and carry out domestic and foreign affairs, to build and Promote relationships with customers to achieve set goals.
  • Report monthly working results and fund items; Analyze reports, offer solutions to improve processes, and improve work efficiency.
  • Coordinate customer complaint resolution; Provide constructive resolution to all relevant customer complaints.
  • Strategic planning and development of feed additive sales in line with the company’s business plan and the Sales Director’s instruction
  • Build up and maintain good relationships with customers and identify competitive advantages to build a strong pipeline of opportunities in the feed additive segment
  • Actively develop new customers and introduce new products to existing customers
  • Achieve annual financial targets set by the company
  • Responsible for all sales activities in Vietnam
  • Work closely with other departments and colleagues to gain support
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in relevant disciplines (Vet, Animal Nutrition and Feed Technology, Animal Science, etc.)
  • Over 8 years’ experience in sales and business development in the Feed Additive industry
  • In-depth knowledge of the Feed Additive industry including products, technologies, customers, and competitions
  • A good customer base to start with would be desirable
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Key account management skills
  • Business acumen, Ability to close the deal
  • High integrity, Result-driven, motivated in developing new customers
  • Required Language: Good level of English
  •
