A global leader in construction and project management, known for delivering end-to-end engineering solutions, including feasibility analysis, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning, is looking for a Project Development Manager to their operations in Vietnam.
Position Overview
The Project Development Manager will drive the development of water/wastewater projects, focusing on identifying opportunities, structuring PPP investment, and overseeing the full project lifecycle. This role involves building key relationships with government officials/stakeholders, and supporting Pre F/S and F/S processes. The ideal candidate will be proactive, responsible, and capable of managing projects independently in a dynamic environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Identify and explore new opportunities in water/wastewater projects, including structuring investment and financing for PPP projects.
- Oversee the entire project development process, from initiation to contract finalization, and provide support for proposal management.
- Establish and cultivate relationships with government officials and relevant organizations.
- Lead or assist with Pre F/S and F/S management to ensure project feasibility.
- Facilitate communication between the management and local stakeholders, including government bodies, authorities, and institutions.
- Organize meetings and ensure accurate documentation through detailed minutes.
- Negotiate and secure pre-order or long-term partnership agreements with selected subcontractors or partners.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as delegated by the direct manager.
- Site inspection and record when is needed
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Architecture, or a related field in Water/Infrastructure.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar position.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Highly responsible, accountable, capable of working independently under pressure, and eager to take on new challenges.
