Position Summary
The Sales Support Specialist plays a key role in supporting the sales and field application engineering (FAE) teams throughout the customer engagement lifecycle. This role ensures operational efficiency and customer satisfaction by managing quotations and pricing, and coordinating logistics during the early stages of customer projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Support all aspects of the sales processes and ensure smooth execution of customer requirements
• Prepare sales documents, quotation, proposals, and presentations
• Maintain customer records and sales databases (CRM systems like Salesforce)
• Assist with order processing and follow-ups
• Resolve logistics issues during project ramp-up and supporting delivery expeditions
• Respond to client inquiries and resolve minor issues
• Coordinate between clients and the sales team for information sharing
• Track sales leads and opportunities
• Follow up on pending proposals or quotes
• Collaborate with internal departments in coordinating meetings & maintaining strong communication with customers & team members
• Review pending orders & specific customer requests to ensure excellent customer service & customer experience
• Work with customer on their latest production forecast and communicate with sales and factory to improve customer on time delivery
• Collecting & analyzing sales data, providing reports to the sales team & monitoring performance indicators
• Support the implementation of sales strategies in alignment with corporate objectives and contribute to achieving revenue targets.
Qualifications
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of relevant experience in sales operations or technical sales support preferred
• Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communicator with ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint; and experience using ERP.
