Testing (Linux Validation) Engineer/Senior Engineer- Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced and skilled Testers/Senior Testers to join our team in Ho Chi Minh City. The ideal candidates will be responsible for testing, verification, and maintenance of systems and software, leveraging expertise in software development, testing frameworks, and hardware comprehension.
Roles G Responsibilities:
•Testing and Verification:
➢Conduct testing for software systems on Linux platforms.
➢Perform functional, performance, and benchmarking tests for multimedia frameworks, audio/video codecs, graphics libraries, and image processing systems.
➢Implement test automation techniques for efficient testing cycles.
➢Test web platforms, including Gecko, and ensure compatibility and performance.
•Hardware Understanding:
➢Analyze and interpret hardware manuals and schematics for effective testing and debugging.
•Collaboration and Documentation:
➢Work collaboratively within a team of testers to identify and resolve software or hardware issues.
➢Document test cases, results, and processes.
•Leadership (for Senior Tester Role):
➢Mentor and guide junior team members.
➢Manage test schedules and deliverables.
➢Lead investigations into complex issues and drive their resolution.
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
•Experience in capturing requirements from specifications and identify test scenarios
•Proficiency in Script and Python programming.
•Strong knowledge of Driver/BSP development for Linux platforms
•Experience with multimedia frameworks, audio/video codecs, graphics libraries, and image processing.
•Expertise in performance testing and benchmarking tools.
•Familiarity with Gecko and web platform testing.
•Understanding of test automation techniques.
•Ability to read and analyze hardware manuals and schematics.
•Experience working in Embedded domain – MCUs and SoCs
•Good in understanding SW design and involved middleware components
•Good debugging and communication skills

Ǫualifications:
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role. Total years of Experience: 4+ years
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
