- Our Client, a leading service provider in Vietnam's oil and gas industry, is looking for Site/Construction Manager for their business in Vietnam.
- Participating in project construction planning: Proposing partners, collaboration methods, evaluating technical aspects, defining tasks for self-execution, and planning subcontractor management.
- Organizing surveys, technical designs, and detailed designs.
- Developing construction execution designs, including breaking down construction quantities, key materials, consumable materials, construction methods, and technical procedures.
- Preparing a list of documents for the construction phase of the project.
- Drafting technical specifications for procurement packages of services and materials for construction.
- Evaluating the technical aspects of material and service procurement packages.
- Expediting and monitoring procurement packages of materials and services.
- Developing schedules, managing, and monitoring project timelines.
- Implementing construction measures to ensure quality and safety during execution.
- Creating the organizational chart for project implementation, assigning personnel, and managing resources (human resources, equipment, etc.) efficiently.
- Conducting risk assessment and analysis to identify potential issues.
- Managing changes in project scope, technical requirements, and timelines.
- Communicating, handling, and distributing information, coordinating tasks, and managing interfaces among project members and stakeholders.
- Prompting and reminding departments to complete assigned tasks on schedule.
- Preparing weekly and monthly reports as required by the project.
- Organizing weekly and periodic project meetings and recording meeting minutes.
- Compiling and pushing involved parties to complete handover documentation, and reporting on materials and equipment after project completion.
Educational level:
- Graduated with a bachelor's degree in engineering or a master's degree.
- Completion of professional training courses or a second degree in Project Management or Business Administration is an advantage.
- 7-10 years of experience working in engineering fields related to Oil & Gas, Construction, and Mechanical Installation.
- At least 2-3 years of experience as a Construction Manager or Site Supervisor in projects related to offshore pipeline construction, as well as construction, fabrication, and installation projects.
- Experience working with investors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Experience managing projects with a scale of 50-100 personnel.
- Professional knowledge of bidding for fabrication and construction projects.
- Thorough understanding of technical standards in materials, welding, fabrication, chemical construction, electrical, and automation.
- Knowledge of technical-economic norms.
- Experience drafting technical requirements for construction packages and evaluating technical aspects of construction bids.
- Proficiency in planning, progress reporting, presenting design solutions, and resource mobilization strategies for projects.
- Strong leadership, team management, and teamwork skills.
- Having a Level 1 or Level 2 Construction Supervision certification or a certification for supervising equipment installation in construction projects is an advantage.
- Strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and a cooperative attitude in work.
- Demonstrates effective communication skills with clients, partners, and colleagues.
- Willing to travel frequently and capable of working flexibly to meet project requirements.
