Job Purpose/Dimension

The warehouse & logistics supervisor / manager will be responsible for managing all the activites in Hai Phong bonded warehouse. The candidate will implement and execute the overall warehousing and logistics activites, in addition, while acting as a key point of contact for 3rd party logistics and freight partner, the role will require problem analysis and resolution for operational issues. Furthermore, the individual will suport continuous improvement by using analytics to identify potential areas of opportunity. The role requires a proactive, detail oriented, and autonomous approach with the abaility to multi-task, think creatively and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

 

Major Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee daily operations in the warehouse, develop and implement a daily work plan to manage workload efficiently. Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations. Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, or accounting. Create polices or procedures for warehousing and logistics actives. Negotiate with suppliers or customers to improve supply chain efficiency or sustainability. Resolve problems concerning transportation logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer related issues. Negotiate legal transportation contracts rates and services. Participate in carrier management processes, such as selection, qualification, and performance evaluation. Identify warehouse operation risks include EHS (Environment, Safety, Health) and Quality Control to ensure compliance operation.

 

Required Criterion

10 years related warehouse and/or logistics experience. Education – Bachelors degree in business/logistics/supply chain related Experience managing costs, legal contract negotiations, logistics negotiation, providing RMA services, handling local pulls and managing inventory. Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels within the organization. Ability to work independently and make decisions based on judgement and integrity. Ability to work effectively with others to accomplish goals in a challenging environment. Demonstrated efficient work methods, analytical & problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and planning ability Strong Chinese communication skills.
