- Coordinate and oversee daily operations in the warehouse, develop and implement a daily work plan to manage workload efficiently.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, or accounting.
- Create polices or procedures for warehousing and logistics actives.
- Negotiate with suppliers or customers to improve supply chain efficiency or sustainability.
- Resolve problems concerning transportation logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer related issues.
- Negotiate legal transportation contracts rates and services.
- Participate in carrier management processes, such as selection, qualification, and performance evaluation.
- Identify warehouse operation risks include EHS (Environment, Safety, Health) and Quality Control to ensure compliance operation.
