As a business marketing representative in the shipping & operations division, your key focus is to collect the market and client information in Vietnam and provide the best service for the clients, conduct the technical guidance for loading and discharging operations when the fleet calls the port of Vietnam and dispatch vessels under the safety situation.
Responsibilities
Collect the market business and client information for the breakbulk and other Specialized cargo fleet voyage and/or T/C basis in Vietnam, Identify the customers and their needs.
Understand customer needs, and provide the best service to the clients of Vietnam.
Conclude and execute best business in line with shipping management guidance and targets.
Conduct technical guidance for loading and discharging operations when fleet vessels call the port of Vietnam, and if necessary, attend the loading or discharging operation on site.
Coordinate the local agent and the operator of the fleet vessels to dispatch vessels under the safety situation in Vietnam port.
Make the weekly and monthly management reporting and follow the instructions of the shipping & operations division and company leaders.
Qualifications
Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
1+ years of business-to-business solutions selling experience required with a focus on prospecting new customers and developing existing business relationships, Familiar with the market of heavy lift project cargo and/or Paper Pulp is preferred.
At least 2 years of cargo operations experience in similar industries, Familiar with the cargo operations of heavy lift project cargo and/or Paper Pulp is preferred.
To possess strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated business math and intermediate computer skills with MS Office skillsets
Good relations with the ship-owner of Breakbulk & heavy lift cargo and other Specialized carriers are preferred.
Good relations with the main client of Specialized cargo or ENR top 250 is preferred.
To have driving license and own a vehicle is preferred
To have a chief office or captain’s license in ocean-going vessels is preferred
To have the practical of port captain or Stevedore company foreman is preferred.
Fluent English in writing and speaking, Fluent Chinese is preferred
