Duties:

Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Develop new business opportunities from potential prospects in the supply chain solutions sector.
• Consistently drive sales efforts by proactively developing and expanding business relationships with potential clients, targeting SMEs and MNCs in the local market.
• Plan and execute sales strategies, including calls and meetings with potential clients, while addressing their specific needs and requirements.
• Provide regular reports to the Head of Department (HOD) on sales action planning, forecasts, customer visits, opportunities, and relevant customer/prospect information.
• Foster business growth across all areas of the company in alignment with sales targets and budgets set by the Sales Manager.
• Ensure the accurate compilation and reporting of operational and financial data related to customer accounts.
• Maintain ongoing communication with new customers, Customer Service, and Operations teams to ensure alignment on company policies, departmental expectations, and customer requirements.
• Actively seek to expand business opportunities by acquiring new clients and nurturing long-term relationships with existing clients.
• Monitor and follow up on payment collections with customers.

Requirements:

1. Education & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma
2. Working Experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics /supply chain related industry.
• Preferably with minimum 2 years related sales experience.
• Experienced managing and developing high level customer relationships in complex global and regional multi-national corporations.
• Experienced in selling & marketing supply chain solutions focusing on airfreight, Ocean freight, warehousing & distribution services.
• Significant sales and marketing change experience supported by advanced logistics skills, high levels of numerical and verbal reasoning and be of advance intellectual ability.
• Regional and local market knowledge and commercial understanding. 
3. Specialist Knowledge & Skills
• Good negotiation skills, with a grasp of the legal issues associated with contracts.
• Self-starter with ability to engage stakeholders and interpret their requirements, needs and planning.
• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Proficient in English or Chinese.
