Job Title: HR Director
Department: Human Resources
Location: Ba Son Office, Ho Chi Minh City
Reporting To: Business Unit Head (Expat)
Team Size: 30 HR Professionals
Salary Range: Up to 250 million VND gross/month
Bonus: 4–6 months performance-based bonus
Start Date: ASAP

Job Purpose
The HR Director will be a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, responsible for shaping, implementing, and evolving the human resources agenda to support ILA's ambitious growth and transformation strategy. This role includes workforce planning, organizational development, talent acquisition, performance management, and building a culture of trust and high performance.

Key Responsibilities
1. HR Strategy & Organizational Development
  • Design and execute HR strategies that align with business goals and support ILA’s scaling efforts.
  • Lead change management and organizational design initiatives.
  • Translate long-term workforce planning into structured HR programs and policies.
  • Partner with leadership to embed a performance-driven and people-centric culture.

2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
  • Drive employer branding to attract top-tier talent across all functions (education, administration, support).
  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment strategy and optimize hiring channels.
  • Lead annual workforce planning and headcount budgeting processes in alignment with expansion targets.

3. Performance, Learning & Development
  • Implement modern performance management frameworks (e.g., OKRs, continuous feedback).
  • Champion leadership development and build a coaching culture at all levels.
  • Oversee the design, delivery, and impact measurement of learning and development initiatives.

4. Compensation & Benefits
  • Develop total rewards strategies that ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.
  • Regularly review industry benchmarks and recommend adjustments to attract and retain top talent.
  • Lead compensation and benefits reviews, performance bonus design, and employee recognition programs.

5. Employee Engagement & Culture
  • Foster a culture of trust, transparency, and accountability.
  • Design and roll out employee engagement programs, wellness initiatives, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategies.
  • Act as a culture ambassador and HR advisor to business leaders.

6. Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, corporate policies, and audit requirements.
  • Build HR processes and systems that are both compliant and efficient.
  • Proactively manage labor risks and employee relations issues.


Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Age: Dynamic and forward-thinking
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in HR, with at least 5 years in a leadership role at the HR Director level or equivalent, preferably in multinational or fast-growth organizations
  • Background: Strong in Organizational Development, Talent Management, and Strategic HR
  • International Exposure: Experience working or studying abroad, or with expat teams, is a plus
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership presence, excellent communication skills in both Vietnamese and English, ability to influence across all organizational levels
  • Appearance: Professional and elegant
  • Mindset: Strategic, data-driven, people-first
