Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to oversee our client's Modern Trade accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sales growth, enhance brand visibility, and foster strong relationships with key accounts in the modern trade segment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Account Management:

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the modern trade segment.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of strategies and objectives.
    • Negotiate and finalize agreements, pricing, and promotional plans with key accounts.
  2. Sales and Revenue Growth:

    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
    • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
    • Drive promotional activities, product launches, and marketing initiatives to increase sales and market penetration.
  3. Forecasting and Planning:

    • Conduct demand forecasting and inventory planning in collaboration with supply chain and demand planning teams.
    • Develop annual business plans and sales forecasts for key accounts.
    • Monitor performance against targets and take corrective actions as necessary.
  4. Market Intelligence:

    • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences.
    • Conduct regular market visits and gather insights to inform strategic decision-making.
    • Provide timely feedback to internal stakeholders on market dynamics and competitive landscapes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in key account management within the FMCG industry, preferably in modern trade channels.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
