I. JOB PURPOSE

This role is critical for the development and implementation of strategies to identify, capture, organize, and share an organization's knowledge assets. The goal is to ensure that valuable information and expertise are easily accessible to employees and all relevant stakeholders when needed.
II. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Advise on best practices for knowledge sharing activities including webinars, blogs, videos, podcasts, and e-newsletters.
Implementing a knowledge management framework and strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.
Identifying and assessing knowledge gaps within the function and developing plans to fill those gaps
Creating and managing knowledge repositories such as databases, intranet sites, and wikis
Developing and implementing knowledge sharing programs and practices such as training sessions, mentoring programs, and communities of practice
Analyzing and evaluating knowledge management programs to ensure that they are effective and align with the organization's needs.
Collaborating with other departments to identify best practices and ensure that knowledge is shared across the organization.
Build templates & structured approaches to documents to ensure consistency in process knowledge.
III. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1. Qualification:
University degree in a development field, communication, social science, economics, or other related discipline.
2. Experience:
Overall experience 5+ years’ in knowledge management, organizational learning, international development, or other relevant experience.
Thorough understanding of knowledge management principles, and capacity to deliver knowledge management and/or organizational learning activities.
Interest in and capacity to deliver such learning programs, excellent written communication skills and the capacity to summarize large volumes of information into concise formats.
3. Knowledge and skills
Knowledge: Thorough understanding of knowledge management frameworks and / or tools such as Document360, Nuclino, Tettra etc
Skills:
Excellent written communication in the English language
Excellent facilitation and organizational skills.
Ability to summarize large volumes of information into concise formats
Strong interpersonal skills
