RESPONSIBILITIES
- Properly forecast and close factory automation solutions opportunities with End Users, Partners, and OEMs to reach the quota goal.
- Utilize the company sales process to effectively demonstrate factory automation products to customers and win large strategic opportunities.
- Follow up on sales leads and schedule customer visits, seeking out large factory automation opportunities.
- Work with the sensor Sales Engineer to ensure that all company products, especially in the realm of factory automation, are sold into strategic accounts.
- Conduct customer visits on a monthly basis, collaborate with counterparts from other territories, and follow up on customer inquiries while maintaining and updating project information.
- Background: Technical degree or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated success in sales within the automation or related industry
- Proficient in executing sales within a solutions-oriented environment
- Consistently achieves desired results by adhering to a defined sales process
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets, particularly in the sale of technical and vision products across all organizational levels
- Independently capable with strong PC literacy and proficiency in MS Windows applications
