Job description:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company targets within the general trade channels
- Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives
- Market Analysis: Conduct regular market analysis to identify opportunities, threats, and trends; Provide insights and recommendations based on market data.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners
- Sales Performance Management: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, and take corrective actions as necessary to ensure targets are met
- Budget Management: Manage sales budgets, forecasts, and expenditures to ensure optimal use of resources
- New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence and increase sales
- Training and Development: Oversee the training and development of the sales team to enhance their skills and performance
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports and updates to senior management
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in sales management within the FMCG/ household appliance or relevant industries, specifically in general trade channels
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth
- Proficiency in using sales and CRM software
- Highly motivated and results-oriented
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Customer-focused with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality service.
