🔎 Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Global Marketing & Business Development Director to lead the international expansion of our premium pet food brand. This role will be responsible for driving global marketing strategy, opening new markets, and managing full P&L ownership across key international regions.
🌟 Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global marketing strategies to strengthen brand positioning in international pet food markets
- Lead business development initiatives to enter and scale in new countries across Asia, Africa, and Latin America
- Manage full P&L responsibility for international operations, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth
- Reposition and localize brand offerings to meet regional consumer needs and regulatory requirements
- Build and lead high-performing, cross-cultural teams across multiple geographies
- Establish and grow partnerships with distributors, retailers, and e-commerce platforms
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to inform strategic decisions
- Collaborate with R&D, Supply Chain, and Sales to ensure alignment and operational excellence
✅ Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in pet food marketing and international business development
- Proven track record in launching and scaling pet food brands in global markets
- Strong understanding of pet nutrition trends, consumer behavior, and regulatory landscapes
- Experience managing dealer networks, distributors, and modern trade in emerging markets
- Demonstrated success in P&L management and turnaround strategies
- Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Spanish, French, Mandarin) are a plus
- Willingness to travel extensively across regions
